After all of the advance hints and suggestions the Club have, today, unveiled our plans for the youth Academy. Facilities for 400 and Accomodation for 40. If that isn't a commitment to the thought that our self-developed youth is the future, I don't know what is. When the Owners first came they said that they had a long term commitment to the club - we will need two years before the centre is up and running and then it'll be around 5 years before we start seeing the full end product of the production line. This just has to be so exciting and we will surely now become even more feared and hated by the rest of English football. The jealousy they have will be doubled and trebled with a massive resentment that we are the club to go this way, teaching all the rest what a proper club should be doing. Meanwhile the glazers are trying to dump shares on the Singapore stock market 'cos they are desperate for money. I have heard from someone living in NY State that their shopping malls in the USA are suffering tremendously and it looks as though no matter how much they may (or may NOT) make, it is all needed to go into the glazer organisation. It seems that very little will go to modernising what is an historical, antique and rapidly ageing ground or developing a decent Academy to match the one that we are developing. Don't you just love being a Blue at this time
