His record against English teams is abysmal and he has avoided coming to the Prem several times.
I think that says it all - he is great against slow, badly orrganised defences but has VERY limited influence in the type of games he would have to play in the English Premiership.

That 4th goal v England was 'out of this world' up there with the best ever IMO.

Yeah seems to be a bit of a pattern - stays a season or two then goes! I'm getting his autobiography for Christmas - meant to be a good read! Yeah was an absolute wonder goal! If there's a list of 10 Best Goals then it has to include that one! |
