Niall Quinn has just kicked Scumbeland in the head - surely NOT.
In Cook's position we need a Businessman who is good at Marketing, Salemanship and is an Inspiration to those working with him. None of these are traits that I associate with Quinn.

I think that Sorano (if thats spelt right) who was at Barca under the transformation era of Jaun Laporta which saw Rijkaard bring the club back out of it's baron spell will be the man who eventually gets announced as the new CEO. I think Summerbee and Bernard Halford already play the role of having that connection to the club that others upstairs may not and i don't think there is any plans to add Quinn to that. I think if you read the quotes from Himself, Ellis Short and Martin O'Neill he'd end up with a bit of distaste if he took another job anytime soon.

It was reported yesterday that Niall Quinn is heading back to Ireland for business and family interests there.
