Seen the news... Kompany's wasn't actually two footed either!
Once again the FA show a lack of both consistency and common sense!
People say we can't have both. I say we don't have either! *big sigh*

Delap's was not two-footed but it was dangerous imo. Went over the ball and into the player so serious injury could have ensued. Kind of hard to take that he gets away with it.

One thing where DeLap was dead lucky - the crock of crap he plays with are without doubt recognised as the dirtiest team in the league. They were on TV last weekend and even the commentator said, about one of their players, that he could put it out in no uncertain terms. As close as a TV commentator could get to saying that he is a foul-tackling bastard and get away with it. In context of stuff that Shawcross, Higginbottom etc do, DeLap's doesn't look that bad.

I was thinking to myself (a dangerous thing) if Stoke's UEFA tie against Valencia had any bearing on the appeal. Would his ban have been domestic only or in all competitions?

Domestic only. The EUFA competitions have their own suspensions - like Rooney can't play in Euro 2012 due to suspension but CAN play in the Prem, for instance.

I didn't see the score against Stoke... guess it would not have mattered anyway if the suspension was domestic only!
Makes me wonder though... Due to dubious decisions made by the FA, if we don't win the league this year, could City contest the FA for compensation as a result because of the damage done to the squad in January with Vinnie K's sending off?
I'm guessing the answer is no, but with the FFP loadabollox coming in, something needs to be done about the FA as these kind of decisions could prove financially quite costly!
