I'm NOT a fan of his. We have three regular scorers (Aguero, Dzeko and Balotelli) who have shared loads of goal between them - Van Pussy is the only one they have got and, if we look at the assists he gives to anyone else, compared to our guys, it is absolutely minimal. If he doesn't score Arsenal don't win and I feel that, in part, it is becasuse he is just like Sturridge and Tevez = "Me and only Me is what counts". I still haven't forgiven him for the absolute play acting and rolling round in mortal agony untiul he realised that Adebayor was in trouble and suddenly he's got big sly grin on his face.

he's been in absurdly good form but i'd rather sell tevez, bring in guedetti for next season and spend the money elsewhere in the squad. as tdk says, we've already got 3 regular scorers.

Manchester City Strike Agreement for Arsenal's Robin van Persie Arsenal face the prospect of losing a fifth player to Manchester City in three years after Robin van Persie provisionally agreed a contract with the Premier League leaders that promises to make him the division's best paid footballer. City's proposal, which sources close to both club and player say has been accepted, is worth £10.9 million a year, a deal that will place him atop the club's pay scale once Carlos Tevez, whose contract was worth £12.55m including loyalty bonuses, is sold this summer. A transfer fee will have to be agreed with Arsenal for their captain, but with the striker's contract entering its final season, and City's offer almost £100,000 above the London club's pay ceiling, the Gunners will be presented with another strategic dilemma. Arsenal were forced to sell Samir Nasri to City in almost identical circumstances last summer. Read more here:

I hope this is not true!
I don't fancy another player at the club adding to an already astronomical wage bill!

After the last couple of months, I'd rather keep Tevez plus Dzeko and add John Guidetti to our squad than spend a fortune on another striker

Now that Van Pussy has said he wants to leave Arsenal, I feel that I MUST reiterate: ---
We must try to keep Aguero, Balotelli, Dzeko and Tevez. Add Guidetti to our squad - as well as Peter Suarez - let van pussy stew. P L E A S E
Edit: 'Peter' Suarez - I think I'll go for Denis (ooops).

I do not believe he is coming here. The more I read the ACTUAL comments made by Mancini and not the Murdoch's Morons conjecture, the more I believe his only chance of getting away fromArsenal before this season starts is to go to Spain or Germany or Italy. At his age, and his slight lack of pace, I'd predict he'll end up in Italy. Maybe Juvemtus as they won the league last year and are in the CL.

I hope this is not true! I don't fancy another player at the club adding to an already astronomical wage bill! Yeah me too. IF he is a target i can only see it being for one reason - to win the CL next season. With RVP he will have a proven prem goalscorer that will afford him the opportunity to rest Aguero for CL games. I agree with TDK i really don't think he suits the new way we play and Arsenal last year were very reminiscent of us in the 10/11 season. However he is a game changer that can be relied upon and given that in the tougher stage of last season when we were out of form our stand up and counted players where Yaya and Kompany and even Tevez has showed his ability to play as part of a team rather than the one man show... If we do sign him I'll definitely see the reasons to do so but i just feel this is the year to look at a couple of players within our team who haven't been putting out the kind of displays they could be doing and saying to them - "1 season, prove your good enough or you'll be out on your ear next summer" (i.e. Johnson, Dzeko, Kolarov who are all paid 1st team players wages yet aren't putting in 1st team players performances when they do play).

There is no doubt when fit he is a cracking player i guess the problem is that in 7 years at Arsenal he's only really been fit for 18 months. I really don't fancy him when we already have 4 ready made and 1 decent prospect in the striking department. However having said that i think that Ibra and Silva transfer will trigger some serious movement in the market with regards to Kolarov and/or Dzeko

According to SSN the Abra/Silva moves will lead to Tevez and AC Milan. I wonder what odds the SkyBet morons have put on Tevez to go to Milan - if it's reasonably good odds, we know that he will NOT be going to Milan but SkyBet will make a good few bob !
