We dont even deserve to win the league really this year, all i keep on hearing from the players before games is "we need to treat every game like a final now!" but when are they actually going to play like that? This was probably the worst game of the season tonight we created barely anything and only scored from a long shot with a deflection.
The team had no desire, no tempo, no nothing in it, it was a real gutless performance. Its been like this for a while as well, we've been playing badly and managing to scrape results for quite some time. We seem to start most games in cruise control and then only actually kick into gear when we go behind which is very worrying.
The only players who came out of that game with any credit were Zab and Micah in my opinion.

I can only say that ANY game that is played against Stoke and their opponents manage to get off the field at 90 minutes with no broken legs is a good result. They are an absolute disgrace and should be told to have their pitch caged in and make TV programmes for the likes of juvenile delinquents to watch at 4 a.m.
Siva was elbowed, pulle, crash-tackled, tripped, ankle tapped and generally just clattered every time the ball was within 5 yards of him. The same for Balotelli, how he kept his cool was a credit to him. Why, oh why didn't the referee just do as he is supposed to and force BOTH teams tom play to The Law od Association Football as published by the Football Association. Oh yeah, it was Howard Webb abd Ferguson was quoted after the derby at the swamp that he would pull Webb of the bench. On Saturday we say what he meant.

I found it funny how Howard Webb was an official for both games!
The game against Stoke once again shows how much we miss Kompany's leadership!
