I think that is something that Mancini will look at if he can do, ultimately when Kompany got injured/banned was when we blew the chance of winning it a little easier than we may do. Lescott has been unreal this season but i think he got found a little out of his depth in Europe this season, if we are going to make a better fist of the CL next season i reckon someone like Vortonghen who wouldn't command a massive transfer fee, would keep the other defenders on their toes and has potential to get even better.

I seriously think we do not need to buy another centre back. Get Savic into the EDS squad to mould his skillset. Bring back Boyata from Bolton and we will have the cover. Don't forget that we still have Kolo Toure and also we have Micah Richards who can provide cover at centre back! Savic was the liability.
