Sebastian Giovinco Parma star Sebsatian Giovinco's agent has claimed that Manchester City are in the mix to sign him. The 25-year-old forward began his career with Juventus but he has spent the last two years with Parma, with the two clubs each sharing 50 per cent ownership of his registration. Juve are understood to be keen to take Giovinco back to Turin, but Claudio Pasqualin has revealed that City are also keen on his services. Two observations, at under 5'5" I doubt he'll be up to the Prem game (Silva is the exception that proves the rule in my book). Secondly, never heard of him, I can't help thinking this is an agent trying to inflate the price of his client.

He's had a good season at Parma and was dubbed one of the best players of his generation when he first broke through in the Juventus side but i really don't think he has what it takes to play in the prem. Like TDK said with his height but as the stats show it is the largest difference in not only distance covered, but average speed per game between England (1st highest), Spain (2nd), Germany (3rd, just) & way behind Italy (4th). IMO thats why Italian based transfers players never make it in the prem, because they have such a large amount of physical improvement to do before they are even up to scratch to be able to learn how to play in the prem.
