Manchester City Star Michael Johnson in 'Dink-Dive' Arrest After 3.40am Smash in Urmston
Manchester City star Michael Johnson has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after his car was involved in an early-hours smash.
Neighbours witnessed the 24-year-old climb out of the wreckage of his Mercedes CLS 350. It is understood the midfielder had been on his way to his girlfriend’s home in Urmston when his car hit a parked BMW X5.
Neighbours called police following the incident on Grangethorpe Road at 3.40am yesterday. Residents and later paramedics tended to the player, who injured a knee.
