They have obviously tried to screw us for more than the reputed 6.2 Million that City have offerred and, now that Walcott appears to have come into the market place, it seems that they'll be left with a big fat zero amount of money and a very, very disgruntled player.
Lovely if this happens, it will at least set a bench mark that we may be prepared to pay big money for big players (Yaya, Aguero et al) but will NOT be blackmailed by a small town chairman who thinks he is Mr Big - and then turns out to be yet another 'mini-me'.
