I think anyone who's been on this site for a year or two, know my views on Tevez. No matter how many goals he scored, had he been less selfish, the team could have scored at least two more IMO.
I love the way that the rag-supporting Murdoch clan love to rub it in that we have a 'shortage' of good strikers. I still reckon that, in Edin Dzeko and John Guidetti (remembering that Manuel Pelligrini made enquiries to take him on loan to Malaga last year) will not let us down, and just one other striker on board will bring us right up to speed.
In addition, with Fernandhino on boaard, we can play Yaya further forward with Silva also having found his scoring boots, we'll be v ery hard to stop with good strikes at goal coming from all over the place.
In addition we also have a guy called 'Kun' who needs no introduction at all to goal scoring.

I think we'll need another striker to replace Tevez! I'd be happy if we had FOUR recognised forwards ready for the new season!

Still, I don't think there's many areas which need strengthening?

Maybe a utility LB/CB if Kolarov decides to follow Tevez to Juventus but surely we have some decent players in EDS/Youth squad?

I'm actually REAAAAAAAAALLY excited for next season!!!

Left back/ left sided midfield can be coveered by Karim Rekik, I feel.

According to the BBC Sports page football gossip column this morning, we have been linked with 4 different strikers at least.

Now that we have Marwood and Patrick Vieira looking after our Academy guys, I reckon in another year's time, we'll have a few ready to step up to the first team squad. We have some real promising players out there.

Lewandowski anyone? Dzeko wants to go back to Bundesliga?

From what I've seen of Lewandowski - he's a like for like replacement for Dzeko but with better feet?
