Maicon - AS Roma

Maicon has joined AS Roma on a permanent deal.

The Brazilian full-back arrived at City last August but found first-team opportunities limited and he made just 11 appearances during the 2012/13 campaign.

With Pablo Zabaleta and Micah Richards seemingly ahead of him in the battle for the right-back role with the Blues, the 31-year-old has opted to return to Serie A to continue his career.

Everyone at Manchester City wishes Maicon good luck at his new club.

How much did we get for him?

With 34 million for Tevez - it makes me laugh the way those dumbos on SSN keep saying we have spent 90 Million - it is more like 86 Million LESS 34 Million which in my book equals 52 Million LESS fees for Maicon, Helan etc. AND in addition we now have got people like santy crocky and bridge off the pay roll as well.
