A lot of media outlets suggesting that Barca want him to play for their Barca B side.
With only a year left to run on his current contract and several interviews this season stating that he wanted a loan move away from the club to get first team football, there might be a few questions hanging around him in the coming months.
What do we think? Has he shown thus far that he is capable of being good enough for the first XI? Have we shown enough to him for him to turn down the chance to spring board his career, perhaps not into the barca team but to use the Barca B team as a spring board to another big Spanish club like Juan Roman last season?
Personally, whilst he has shown flashes, i think his development has been staunched over the last two years by the lack of quality around him, which is why he hasn't been making the EDS headlines as frequently as a player of his potential should be. I think that has shown by how well he has played for the Spanish U20's this summer.

It would be ashame if we keep losing our younger talent, loan would be OK.

Agree virtually with all of your points there, eaststand BUT, I do feel that we should put him into our first team squad immediately and then we can 'blood' him in some cup games (Capital and FA) and, if he improves as we hope, he can also become useful off the bench as the season continues. I don't like the idea of letting such a talented player go on loan for the last year of his contract - he is vulnerable to be seduced by another club while he is away from our influence and I want to give him a chance before offloading him.

All I can think (optimistically) is that Pllegrini knows Spanish players and doesn't see Suarez having much more improvement to come in his game. At least, I'd like to tjink so, as I'd hate to know we were losing a very good player.

@city_Watch listed that the deal included first option if Barca choose to sell, a sell on fee and future incentives that could see the total fee rise upwards of £6 million should Suarez be promoted to the Barca 1st team.
