I have had a real old-fashioned cold - eyes streaming, head aching, sneezing 5 successive times evert 15 minutes and sweating like a freshly dumped cow pat on a hot day. I was in bed and forcing down some Lemon Tea (diluted by a quadruple Scotch) in order to try to cure my cold.
The remedy worked very well, I am pleased to stay BUT I think I may need to try a couple of my cold remedies tonight - just to make sure my cold has gone of course ;D ;D ;D

Yeah? Been wondering where everyone's been ..... well, you & bluemoon mainly! Glad to see your back on your feet, the good old remedies work well eh? I can remember my Nan giving me a sip of whiskey for toothache ......... I think I had toothache nearly every time I had to stay at my Nan's I think! Did you watch the game though? That's the most important part? |

Yeah, I recorder it and watched it.
It reminded me so much of our game against the rags at the Etihad - home saide was great for the first 20 minutes and the pretty ordinary after that.
Good result, terrible management though - it reminds me ogf the tactical naivety of David Platt the Prat.
