When he was first appointed and made that 'political' speech - 'nothing is my responsibility', 'this is my wish list' and 'not my responsibility', I stated that he was nothing more than a politician with minimal experience of football and, IMO, was an even worse appointment than Jimmy Saville as headmaster at a Girl's Junior School.
Having now seen his commitment to supporting the England National side by his 'give up now' signal in front of the world's press at the World Cup draw, I would hope that the General GinSwiggers and Lady Pinkgins of the County Football Associations will emerge from their stupors and get rid of the pratt IMMEDIATELY.
For me, I'd go for someone who knows what the game is about, playing, organising and understanding - say, like Clark Carlisle or even Lurch the ex-rag who has amazed everyone by his mature analysis and incisive insight being shown in his Sky TV role. There are also several ex-players, managers and coaches who have progressed from the training grounds of football to be successful businessmen who should be approached.
