Just read this in FourFourTwo and thought I'd pull out a few choice quotes:
Could you have gone to other clubs? We heard Real Madrid and Juventus were interested.
Yes, there were offers. Why did I choose City? This is a team that is growing a lot, with a lot of good players. We are building a good side, it's a type of team that suits me, and here I feel I can win trophies, I think we are going to do important things. They were the most important factors: it is a team that is on the way up and I can fulfill my ambitions here.
Is it true Pablo Zabaleta pestered you to join him in Manchester?
Yes, during Copa America he kept asking me if I was coming or not, every day. And when I could tell him that I was, he was really happy. He comes round to my house every couple of days with his girlfriend, or we go to their house. He is really happy in Manchester.
What do you make of the city so far?
Yes, I like it. I am enjoying it, getting used to it. The countryside outside the city is very nice. I am happy here. We even had three days of nice weather in a row! Now, maybe not. But then it is winter in Argentina, so it is cold there too.
So you have managed to find more than two restaurants, despite what Carlos Tevez says?
Yes, there are loads of restaurants! But everyone is different, and everyone has their own way of doing things and their way of thinking about things. Some people like the sun; some people like the rain. I like both. Obviously at the moment it rains all day, but I'll get used to it. I'm not unhappy. I like it here. I am at a team that is going to do important things. That is what matters, not the rain or the restaurants.
Such a refreshing interview after reading the likes of Jerome Boateng and Carlos Tevez moan about their predicament.
