In today's issue iy says that a new kit deal with Umbro (Adidas owned) is being struck at the end of the season and will be worth £200 Million. It will be interesting to see whether this has any basis in truth or whether they are trying to "outSun The Sun).

Thought it was Nike who own Umbro? I thought that was why you can buy city tops in the nike stores now which was a bid to 'crack' America's market. I've seen an article in the mail and on the mailonline that say it was apparently a contract clause to take us up to £26 million a year deal (from the previously agreed £10 million a year) if we got CL football. This was to put us in line with others in the CL (arsenal - 22 mill a year, manure £30 mill a year and Liverpool £25 mill a year (as of next year with under amour))
