I've seen a few articles saying that we are interested in nicking Paul Pogba from United. His contract expires in July and United have been trying to tie him down to a new one for the last 6 months. A scummer mate of mine says it's been on the United website that Fergie really rates him but is reluctant to give him his chance in the first team ahead of others while he's not committed his future to the club. We almost signed him as part of the Jeremy Helan deal but he opted for United at the time.
Even though a fee for signing a player under the age of 24 on a free (like with the sturidge deal) i wouldn't mind rubbing the rags nose's in it a little more!

Two rag mates of mine here are dead worried this will happen - they both rate him and they also think they won't be spending any $$ in the Jan window cos they can't! One is an ex shareholder - he's very despondent! I tried to console him! haha!!!

I don't know much of him, or about him, but (to quote Eaststand) - I wouldn't mind rubbing their noses in it a little more, either ;D

i saw him play for utd's U17s a couple of years ago and he looked a great prospect. i bit like a young adebayor... though hopefully not such a toss pot (unless he stays at utd...)

He's apparently a box-to-box CM and the title 'the next viera' has been batted about a lot when my rag mates talk about him.
