www.mcfc.co.uk/Great video of the Shaunie's greatest hits - he didn't do tap ins did he.... My fave memory - has to be the 4th goal vs the rags in the 4-1 win and the robot he did after.....pure joy..... Also his belter at Arsenal in front of his old man.... I'm gonna miss him...and I hate Abramovich for buying and sitting him when he was in his prime.....

I agree. the fourth against the rags at Coms - he won the ball just outside our box, played to Sun Jihai who played it down the line and the ball seemed to be on a rail, until SWP collected it, took it forward and smacked it - absolute heaven. Especially as this was the first derby shown on Sky (Pay for view £6.00) and we were invited to a rags house to watch it - by the time our fourth went in all the rags had gone outside pretending the game wasn't being shown. I loved it

I doubt that any 'true Blue' thinks SWP has not been a terrific servant for us during his 2 stints and over 10 years of his career.. ;D And, as BK says, 'that bloody Russian' caused him to sit it out on the bench during his prime which, of course, drastically limited the amount of England caps he merited during his peak - which never came to pass as a result

the 4th vs the rags, the screamer vs arsenal in the carling cup, the time he scored 2 at st james park (and we still lost), the chip against arsenal in 4-2 win in 09, the 2 goals he scored against sunderland on his 2nd debut, the time he scored at portsmouth inside 10 mins, the equaliser at spurs in the 4-3 game, the cracker against aresenal in 1 of our last highbury games, the swerving shot against charlton back in 04-05 (i think), when he scored on his england debut, the 4th goal against portsmouth when we won 6-0, the number of times he's skinned patrice evra...
