John Guidetti says he's wanted by Manchester City.
The super Swede has revealed he's close to getting the all-clear from City's medical staff after recovering from a mystery leg injury.
"No matter what happens, I'll play football, I have said this all along. Manchester City have shown interest and told me I'm a good football player and they want me to be a part of their club. It's amazing," he told Sportbladet.
"But they know that I think I need to develop in order to play.
"In the January window, I think they will find a great solution for me."
I'd be very tempted to try and get him over to Swansea on loan. Laudrup is a very good man-manager and would be the perfect coach to nurture his talent and try and progress his game without the ball. Yeah he'd face competition with Danny Graham but DG doesn't score enough goals at premier league level; i think it would be good for all parties. Others that i think would be interested in loaning him in January would be Sunderland, Newcastle, Liverpool and Reading, the latter two being the better options for him getting 1st team football i reckon.
