Split Cook's roles. Give the kind of 'understudy to Khaldoon' job to Williams (ex-blackburn chairman) and bring in a new guy to take over cook's commercial branding. But if i was the owners i offer Cook a demotion and a salary cut first, see how that effects things.

If Cook goes, he'll be very hard to replace. He has made great strides in Marketing, Staffing and Organisation and in Relations Development with the Prem and the F.A. He'll be a big miss, I'm afraid.

Definitely will be; i wasn't a fan at first. But over the last 6 months my mates dad (ex-armed response) has been doing his match-day 'protection' (think i've mentioned it on here before when i said he did the FA cup final game for him) and although Gary Cook's his boss Mick isn't one to mince his words and he says he's a top bloke. It just appears that he's a bit of a media-shit-storm-magnet, which is a real shame. Maybe the media see him as the weakest link to get at and get a story from because they'd rather write about a catastrophic failure than a success story? I think regardless of the findings he's going to need punishing in some shape or form but i hope he does stay. |

So are basically talking about an accidental 'cc' link to Mrs Onuoha with the 'ravaged with it' comment?? If we are I feel he shouldn't lose his job. Careless? Yes. Stupid? Yes, even heartless? yes but it wasn't meant for her eyes.
Agree about some kind of punishment, but as has been said above, he'd be a great loss. He knows the ins and outs of everything and to lose him with the fairplay rules coming in shortly would be a big loss...

Agreed, when he is doing his job there is none better. BUT his asinine comments are proving to be an embarrassment to the club. He needs to be told to pull his head in & make no public comments until they have been vetted by someone with a bit of common sense.
