A lot of rumours/paper talk about him leaving madrid/being available this summer on the relative cheap. Yeah he's 31 but would he improve our team or would it have to be a choice between him or barry?

TBH, I'd rather have Barry or Garcia than Alonso. I believe that Garcia has got to grips with the Prem now, and IMO woill be a very impressive player for the rest of this season. We'll know over the next few weeks.

I noticed when he came on at the swamp, his play and confident manner reminded me so much of Patrick Vieira when he came on in similar stages of the games two seasons ago. Next, I'd like to see Maicon get fit and just show us a few cameos of what he can do.
