Carlos Tevez Admits Driving While Disqualified Manchester City's Carlos Tevez has been ordered to carry out 250 hours of community service after driving while disqualified and without insurance. The 29-year-old of Alderley Edge, Cheshire, was also banned from driving for six months and fined £1,000. He was arrested after breaking an earlier driving ban for failing to reply to police letters about speeding. Magistrates heard Tevez does not have a UK licence because he has struggled to pass the theory test in English. Argentine striker Tevez was stopped by police on 7 March as he left the Mottram Hall Hotel and Golf Club in Cheshire, Macclesfield Magistrates' Court heard. Read More............

What a load of bull. I do not believe that a player like Tevez wouldn't be given an intterpreter by the club to help him pass the theory test.
Interpreters are CURRENTLY allowed, although there is a groundswell of opinion that far too many Eastern Europeans, Asians and people from the Sub-Continent have passed their tests without having a clue as to what British road signs are, due to family members being their interpreters who may well have answered correctly the questions on behalf of the person taking the test. No, I'm more inclined to believe that he felt he was bigger than a little British law and used zero common sense if he thought he'd get away with driving in the lanes around Mottram, Prestbury or Alderley Edge. What a plank.
